Welcome to the internet site of filmmaker Judith Redding, with hand-tied films and videos
Preproduction has started on a new video of an Ernest Hilbert poem, "Gold Rush," about the variety of items found beneath couch cushions. Props acquired, location secured, casting in progress. Unlike my last video translation of one of Ernest's poems, Wm. James Still, Drowned, this one is light-hearted, and Ernest himself will make a cameo appearance.
Beware if you hear music coming from your basement -- it could be a Monster Party! Check out the latest from director Louis Mansfield and my friends at Federal Film Reserve. I was happy to help out on this funky romp. Click on the photo to watch the video, and check out more of Federal Film Reserve's videos at https://vimeo.com/federalfilmreserve/videos
In postproduction: Stay tuned for details on Variation on a theme by Dorothy Parker, a micro film with a twist on the famous writer's wry wit, shot by stealth with a Flip pocket video camera. You will either laugh or be offended. Laughter preferred.
And here's a production still from Ted Knighton's next film, as yet untitled. Doing the lighting for Ted on this has been a blast! More details as they're available.
